AIDS Walk 2010

A Big Thank You from AIDS Walk & Run San Diego!

Thank you so much for your generous efforts at AIDS Walk & Run San Diego on Sunday! With your amazing support, our San Diego community will be able to help so many people impacted by HIV/AIDS in our area. And a special thank you to our elected and appointed officials who walked with us, including California Assemblymember Toni Atkins, San Diego City Council President Tony Young, Councilmember Todd Gloria, Councilmember Sherri Lightner, Councilmember Carl DeMaio, Councilmember Marti Emerald and Chair of the Board of Port Commissioners Scott Peters, and to our emcee, Matt Johnson of Fox 5.

By walking, running, donating or volunteering this year, you are helping to provide much-needed resources to some of San Diego's most invaluable HIV/AIDS service organizations. While we are still counting the money raised by AIDS Walk & Run, please know that donations will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 14.

Once all the funds are collected, our unique partnership with the San Diego HIV Funding Collaborative will help increase the funds raised by combining them with donations from other philanthropists and foundations to qualify for matching funds. This helps to maximize the resources generated from this year's amazing event.
Thank you, once again, for your support of AIDS Walk & Run San Diego and for your inspiring commitment to help in the fight to end HIV/AIDS!
