AIDS Walk 2017
Welcome to our Mama's Kitchen AIDS Walk/Run home page!
As a community-driven organization, we provide nutrition support to women, men, and children vulnerable to hunger due to HIV, cancer, or other critical illnesses. Therefore, we've once again committed to participate in the 28th annual AIDS Walk & Run to remember the many who were lost to AIDS and to raise vital funds to support all of the San Diegans living today with HIV disease. We will join efforts with hundreds of teams and thousands of fundraising runners and walkers on Saturday, Sept. 30.
AIDS Walk & Run is the single largest one-day HIV/AIDS fundraiser in San Diego. The annual event consists of a 5K Walk, and a USA Track & Field certified 5K Run. Funds raised provide essential services - food, shelter, healthcare, counseling, etc. - to women, men and children fighting HIV/AIDS throughout San Diego County.
Our AIDS Walk & Run team has set a goal to raise $5,000.00 before September 30. Please note a portion of the funds raised will be eligible for a matching grant, if our team has 10 registered members by Aug. 21.
We've made it our goal to sign as many people up as we can. Join us and make our team the biggest and best this year! Reach out to Ben Coyle at 619-233-6262 or firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
