Every year, 50000 people are newly infected with HIV in the U.S. In San Diego there are around 18,000 people living with HIV/AIDS, including those who are unaware they have the virus.
With the way 2017 has been going, I know many of you feel like there are more important things than HIV to worry about. We've all heard that there's strength in numbers. If our community is healthier, and its members are taking better care of themselves, it makes us stronger. More equipped to work together against the hate and violence that seems to be rearing its ugly head on a nearly daily basis these days.
How will you help?
My AIDS Walk & Run Blog
